This role provides high-level administrative support to leadership by managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, handling purchase orders and expense reports, and supporting office operations. It also plays a key part in internal communications and site events, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective engagement across the Akron location.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and resolving conflicts.
  • Coordinate executive travel arrangements, including transportation, lodging, and itineraries.
  • Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely submission.
  • Prepare and submit executive expense reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and distribute company newsletters to support internal communication and employee engagement.
  • Organize and coordinate Akron site events and activities, including logistics, materials, and communication with participants.
  • Prepare Town Hall presentations and supporting presentation materials, particularly using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Provide general office management support for the Akron location, including administrative tasks and day-to-day office operations.
  • Assist with additional administrative projects and business initiatives as needed, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Support leadership teams with executive-level assistance, ensuring efficient operations and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar support role.
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative support to leadership teams and managing complex calendars.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, professional documents and correspondence.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through on tasks and commitments.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting executives or leadership teams in a corporate or office environment.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborative approach to sharing administrative responsibilities with other team members.

Work Environment

This is an in-office role based in the Fairlawn/Akron area, providing on-site support to leadership and the local office. The work environment is professional and collaborative, with a focus on efficient office operations, internal communications, and event coordination. You will regularly use Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, and work closely with leadership and colleagues to support day-to-day activities and special projects. The position is an immediate need, with two individuals sharing administrative responsibilities and the potential for long-term employment based on performance and business requirements.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $30.00/hr.
