Executive Assistant
About the role
The Almond Board of California is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping leaders and organizations operate at their best. As a trusted partner to the President & CEO, this role plays a critical role in supporting executive priorities, Board of Directors activities, stakeholder engagement, and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO's calendar, travel, meetings, and strategic priorities.
- Prepare executive communications, presentations, reports, and Board materials.
- Cook up Board of Directors and committee meetings, including agendas, logistics, and meeting minutes.
- Serve as a key liaison with Board Directors, industry leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate executive events, stakeholder engagements, and domestic and international travel including visa support.
- Track action items and organizational priorities to ensure timely execution and follow-through.
- Support governance activities, special projects, and strategic organizational initiatives.
- Manage confidential information and provide administrative support related to budgets, contracts, and expenses.
Requirements
- You enjoy being at the center of the action keeping people connected, priorities aligned, and important work moving forward.
- You're organized, proactive, and dependable, with the judgment and discretion needed to support senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- 7–10 years of experience supporting senior executives, CEOs, or executive leadership teams; Board support experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities and business demands while maintaining professionalism, exercising strong decision making, and composure.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
