Executive Analyst II
The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) protects consumers and oversees financial service providers and products. The DFPI supervises state-licensed financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, and money transmitters, and licenses and regulates financial service providers such as securities brokers, investment advisers, payday lenders, and other consumer finance lenders. About the role
This Limited Term, Full-time Analyst II position is located in the Sacramento office and provides analytical, administrative, and executive support to the Commissioner of the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. The position reports to and works from the department's Sacramento office a minimum of 4 days per week, with occasional travel required.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical, administrative, and executive support to the Commissioner.
- Perform duties as outlined in the Duty Statement.
Requirements
- Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties.
- Academic education from an accredited college/university may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
- An additional year of professional analytical and/or technical experience equivalent to an Analyst I, Range C.
Pay
$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable. Note: The salary range does not reflect the 3% reduction in pay for SEIU bargaining units in exchange for 5 hours of Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month.
Schedule
12-month limited term, full-time position. In-office work required a minimum of 4 days per week.
