Job Responsibilities
- Aids in scheduling, coordinating, and making travel arrangements for candidates for open salaried positions.
- Administers all steps of the hiring process for hourly employees including entry of new hire/termination IT access/changes into MYHRSpace.
- Maintain updated organization chart.
- Dimensions timekeeping assistance, including running reports to assist managers with incomplete timecards and assisting with timecard questions or issues.
- Processes hourly bi-weekly payroll.
- Assists in the entry of data into the monthly corporate metrics report.
- Create purchase orders, run month end reports, SAP input for invoices for HR & GM.
- Cordination of annual, monthly, and quarterly employee engagement activities, holiday gift cards, holiday lunch, quarterly safety award selections, and annual Safety Calendar contest.
- Provide administrative assistance, write and edit emails, draft memos, and prepare communications on the executive’s behalf.
- Service Awards, Birthday and Holiday Cards.
- Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports including Safety and Environment monthly tracking, lost time reporting, Mill weekly tracking and reporting of training, and updating of employee lists.
- Order and maintain office supplies and labor law posters.
- Oversee the Receptionist position as needed for group tours or other needs.
- Cordination of employee quarterly random drug testing and new employee physicals.
- Political correspondence and meeting coordination.
- Mail pickup and delivery, USPS and Expedited.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- High competency level in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Email.
- Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff as well as outside contracts and vendors.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Additional college or technical school coursework is preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years on the job experience is required.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines is critical.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- High level of confidentiality.
