About the Role
The Executive Administrative Assistant role within RTX's Enterprise Services Strategy & Transformation (S&T) team is a vital support position responsible for managing the daily operations and administrative functions for multiple senior leaders. This role requires a highly organized, proactive individual capable of handling complex scheduling, project coordination, and communication tasks. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of meetings, travel, and special events. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a minimum of three days in the Farmington office, and provides an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate leaders' needs to facilitate efficient decision-making and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree or equivalent post-high school training
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Highly detail-oriented and proactive in anticipating leadership needs
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate executives' calendars, including scheduling internal and external meetings and setting up video and audio conferencing
- Represent executives professionally to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Maintain awareness of business activities and anticipate meeting and event needs
- Prepare reports, presentations, and organizational charts as required for projects and meetings
- Assist in preparing executives for daily activities, including prioritizing meetings and preparing necessary documents
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person group events and meetings
- Handle incoming calls, determine caller purpose, and act as gatekeeper as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and route communications appropriately
- Support visitor requests and coordinate travel arrangements, including logistics and accommodations
- Prepare, review, and submit expense reports in a timely manner
- Assist with special projects and perform administrative duties to support team objectives
