About the role

The Operations department at Glass Roots Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Specialist with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team in Preston, ID. The successful candidate will be responsible for directional drilling operations and managing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities using directional drilling techniques
• Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Manage inventory and equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
• At least 2 years of related experience in construction or utility locating
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with GPS and mapping software
• First aid and CPR certification

Skills

• Proficiency with directional drilling equipment
• Good physical fitness and manual dexterity
• Strong attention to detail

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
