Excavation Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assist with various clerical duties related to excavation business.
• Support the Excavation Manager with service-related issues.
• Upload completed excavation job paperwork into company systems.
• Prepare memos, bids, and other correspondence related to excavation business.
• Organize, file, and maintain excavation filing system.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable with excavation business.
• Research and file all county permits as needed.
• Assist with weekly turn in.
• Perform general office duties such as answering phones, copying, faxing, greeting visitors, mailings, filing, and data entry.
• May assist or be responsible for ordering phones, office supplies, and uniforms.
• May assist with Accounts Payable duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior office experience is strongly preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills for effective customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations.
• Proficient in mathematics, including measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and percentages.
• Basic computer, Microsoft Office, and email knowledge.
• AS400 experience preferred.
