Material Coordinator

SAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator to join the logistics team supporting the CAC2S (Common Aviation Command and Control System) program. This role involves implementing and maintaining systems on military vehicle platforms such as the Polaris MRZR, Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV), Ultra-Light Tactical Vehicle (ULTV), and Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV). Assets include radio communication, optics, radar, and detection capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, correct, and report material record discrepancies
• Reconcile receiving, shipping, and warehouse inventory reports
• Document, track, and report daily deliveries, shipments, and internal material movements
• Collaborate with material handlers and other warehouse/logistics staff to ensure timely, efficient packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) of material
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of material to and from various departments
• Assist Logistics Leads in daily coordination
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply issues

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Two (2) or more years of warehouse experience
• Ability to safely complete all physical demands of the job in a warehouse environment, including:
  • Lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis
  • Walking, bending, stooping, sitting, standing, or squatting for extended periods
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance and CAC
