About the role
As a Material Coordinator for JD Davenport Works located in Davenport, IA, you will:
- Understand critical parts for your product line - including both purchased and manufactured materials.
- Communicate cross-functionally to ensure materials are available at point of use.
- Oversee inventory for your product line, understand root cause of discrepancies, and work through corrective actions.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support factory operational goals.

Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to excel in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with prioritizing multiple tasks/projects with the ability to shift priorities as needed in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience working proactively in a self-guided environment with the ability to seek out additional responsibility.
- Experience analyzing data and solving problems to achieve desired results.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Supply Management or Material Flow such as planning/scheduling, logistics, material replenishment, etc.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off hours as business needs.
- SAP experience.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or engineering or equivalent related work experience.
