About the role

Huntington Learning Center is seeking tutors to teach either math/science or reading/English for the ACT and SAT exams. Ideal candidates include graduate students, research scholars, and new or retired math teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teach ACT and SAT prep courses in math/science or reading/English
• Work with students to improve academic performance
• Provide individualized instruction based on student needs
• Adapt lessons to meet the diverse learning styles of students

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree required
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience a plus

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Passion for education and a desire to help students succeed
