Private Prep is an educational services company dedicated to helping students succeed and thrive through personalized tutoring and support. We provide services in person and online to thousands of families domestically and abroad.
About the role
We are currently seeking talented educators to join our part-time tutoring family in our Central New Jersey and Northern New Jersey regions. Candidates should have access to a car, a bachelor's degree, strong content knowledge, and a passion for education. We offer in-person and hybrid tutoring contracts, with some in-person availability required. Rates range from $50-70/hr for in-person instruction and $35-50/hr for online instruction.
Responsibilities
- Tackle all sections of SAT & ACT exams
- Additionally, knowledge in high school math and high school science is highly valued
- Connect with a variety of people including families, students, and staff
- Offer excellent communication and organizational skills
- Develop as an educator with a palpable passion for education
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with tutoring or teaching
- Strong content knowledge
- Passtime for education
