As an EVS Manager you will manage the Environmental Services department associates with oversight from the Unit Director. You will serve as a liaison between hospital departments and Environmental Services to provide the highest possible level of service.
Responsibilities
- Participate in staff selection process, including interviewing candidates as needed.
- Schedule days off, holidays, and vacations, ensuring account needs are met within hours and position control.
- Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment use.
- Ensure staff receives proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education.
- Provide individual guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
- Discipline associates when necessary according to progressive disciplinary guidelines.
- Prepare associate disciplinary and variance reports, conduct follow-up investigations, and report findings to the Department Director.
- Prepare disciplinary action notices and conduct follow-up as required.
- Conduct disciplinary meetings with associates with guidance from the Department Director.
- Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment.
- Demonstrate and promote Xanitos’ culture, values, and management philosophy.
- Demonstrate quality leadership in meeting performance plans.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- EVS Healthcare Management experience required.
- Strong service and quality attitude.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment (with legally required medical or religious exceptions).

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000, depending on skills, qualifications, degrees, certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission if applicable.
