About the Role
The EVP, Management Supervisor is a senior Account Services leader who serves as a Client Service Lead (CSL) across assigned client relationships and accounts. As a CSL, this individual is responsible for building and maintaining strategic client-agency partnerships, providing senior-level strategic and business oversight, and ensuring the overall health and success of the client relationship. This role brings together client leadership, business stewardship, team development, and growth. The EVP, Management Supervisor serves as a trusted senior partner to clients while ensuring BGBx teams deliver exceptional work, operate effectively, and identify opportunities to deepen and expand client partnerships.
The EVP, Management Supervisor has a proven track record of successfully leading complex client relationships and businesses, driving substantial organic growth, and developing high-performing teams. They’re a trusted senior partner to clients while providing strong leadership internally, including onboarding, training, mentoring, and coaching Account Services team members and developing emerging leaders. This individual sets a high standard for account leadership, ensures teams operate effectively and deliver high-quality work, and proactively identifies opportunities to deepen and expand client partnerships while supporting the continued development and success of the broader Account Services team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Account Services department.
- Develop, implement, and assess strategic plans that align with client objectives and agency goals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee agency financial practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with a track record of achieving financial targets.
- Articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and external clients.
- Mentor and develop team members, with a focus on enhancing skills and supporting career growth.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing client needs and market dynamics.
- Apply comprehensive understanding of the medical communications landscape, including trends, challenges, and regulatory considerations relevant to healthcare and HCP promotion.
- Proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize industry-related tools and technologies that enhance account management processes and improve client service delivery.
- Participate in client-related travel as required, including local (tri-state) and domestic travel, with potential for international travel.
Requirements
- 14+ years of progressive account management experience in medical communications, HCP promotion, or client-side product management.
- HCP promotions experience is preferred.
- At least 10–12 years of experience managing direct reports.
- Experience across multiple products, therapeutic categories, and client companies.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Pay
Salary Range: $250,000 - $280,000. BGB Group is headquartered in New York City, and the salary range listed reflects the expected base compensation for this role in the New York City metropolitan area. This position may be performed remotely within the United States. For candidates located outside the New York City area, compensation will be adjusted to reflect the applicable market for the employee’s primary work location. Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
