About the role
The incumbent is responsible for smooth and efficient housekeeping operations and top-quality guest service under the supervision of the Manager - EVS.
Responsibilities
- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Bristol for gaming entertainment.
- Builds and retains guest relations and mentors team members to provide superior guest service.
- Prepares work schedules and conducts employee evaluations.
- Aids in hiring and establishing training programs for public space personnel.
- Recommends adjustments to public space policies to better serve guests.
- Solves non-routine departmental problem situations and performs special projects as assigned.
- Conducts detailed property inspections to ensure adherence to departmental policies and identify problems.
- Maintains leadership ability to guide subordinate personnel.
- Manages adherence to detailed operating budgets and analyzes vendor billing receipts.
- Resolves potential guest problem situations and ensures total customer satisfaction.
- Attends and participates in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possesses proven leadership ability.
- Has general financial knowledge to maintain adherence to detailed operating budgets.
- Has high interpersonal skills to resolve potential guest problem situations and ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Supervisory/management duties.
- Leadership skills.
- Flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
- Communicates effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
- Reviews and comprehends all necessary documentation.
- Uses a typewriter, 10-key, computer, etc.
- Reviews reports and observes activities subordinates.

- Performs well under pressure.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- One to three years of supervising housekeeping staff or related experience required.
