Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file court documents
  • Navigate and understand court procedures
  • Assist with hearing preparation
  • Maintain case statuses
  • Submit filing fee check requests

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior knowledge of the eviction process preferred
  • Legal experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clerks, judges, and attorneys
  • Understand/learn eviction law and local jurisdictional requirements

Qualifications

  • Proficient in software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based applications
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifies and resolves issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Works well as a team player and assists others within the department
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Conscientious with respect to work quality, deadlines, time management, and attendance
  • Takes initiative when faced with obstacles by identifying needs and proactively taking action
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the Firm’s vision, mission, and core values
  • Analytical and detail-oriented while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Buils professional relationships and establishes rapport with colleagues and clients
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic and adaptability in response to change
