(Every Other) Weekend Hospice Nurse - Registered Nurse

About the role

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice seeks a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care and service to hospice patients. This position offers competitive pay, a 401k plan with employer match, and a focus on work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services for a group of hospice patients and visit patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals.
• Complete hospice admissions and patient visits as needed.
• Answer calls from patients, families, and customers.
• Make nursing visits for symptom management, deaths, and admissions as needed.
• Be a great advocate for hospice services and Suncrest Hospice.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice with one year of experience under license.
• Admissions and on-call experience preferred.
• Works well within a team environment to collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.
• Can work independently and on your own, managing activities including phone, email, and written communication, meetings with healthcare professionals, and understanding hospice rules and regulations.
• Must have time management skills to manage visits, documentation, and meetings.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance, to travel across the service area.

Pay

$41.00 per hour plus bonus opportunities.

Schedule

This position works Saturday and Sunday from 8a-8p.
