Event Venue Manager

About the role

The Bar Manager oversees beverage operations in a high-volume, dynamic venue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, team development, inventory control, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members using coaching models, recognize performance, and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate client needs and operational progress effectively.
• Manage financial performance by maintaining P&L statements, achieving financial targets, and understanding performance metrics.
• Optimize productivity through efficient operations, cost controls, and staff training.
• Maintain compliance with safety, health, and legal policies.
• Supervise front-of-house food and beverage services, coordinating activities to deliver quality products.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of management experience and 1 year in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships and maintain effective working relationships across departments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb., stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
