Venue Manager
Position Summary
The Venue Manager will oversee the daily operations of the venue, ensuring it remains well-maintained and fully functional. This role will coordinate internal event schedules, manage venue-specific storage, and collaborate with external vendors to ensure smooth venue operations.
Job Responsibilities/Essential Duties
Own daily venue operations, ensuring the space consistently meets operational, hospitality, and brand standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, providing clear communication and high-touch support.
Own the venue booking calendar, including scheduling governance, prioritization, and alignment across internal teams.
Cookout event setup and breakdown in partnership with Event Services, Facilities, and external vendors.
Oversee venue storage strategy and inventory management, ensuring organization, accessibility, and readiness.
Oversee kitchen and back-of-house readiness, coordinating with catering partners to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Build, implement, and continuously refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support scalable operations.
Manage venue-related budgets, identifying opportunities for cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
Provide post-event evaluations and insights to drive continuous improvement.
Schedule and oversee venue maintenance, including cleaning, plant care, and waste management.
Anticipate operational needs based on event volume and proactively plan for staffing and support.
Communicate clearly and effectively across stakeholders, ensuring a high level of service.
Required Skills And Abilities
Strong organizational and operational management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong hospitality and service mindset.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proactive approach to operational needs.
Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Experience managing vendors and coordinating vendor compliance requirements, including reviewing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and venue documentation.
Proficiency in Apple workplace tools and event technology platforms, including floor plan diagramming software such as Social Tables, Cvent, and AllSeated.
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends based on event needs.
Ability to lift, move, and transport event materials and supplies as needed.
Education And Experience
5+ years of experience in venue operations, hospitality operations, event operations, or a related field.
Experience within high-growth, consumer-focused, or brand-driven organizations.
Prior leadership or team management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Operations, Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.

Required Licenses And Certifications
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
OSHA safety training, venue operations, or hospitality certifications preferred, but not required.
Work Environment
The Venue Manager works onsite in a fast-paced venue and office environment 5 days per week.
This is not a remote position.
This role requires frequent movement throughout the venue space, including event setup, breakdown, storage management, and operational oversight.
Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedules and business needs, including evenings and weekends
