Description & Requirements

The Event Staffing Specialist is responsible for sourcing, vetting, and booking talent for various events. This is a fast-paced role requiring hands-on recruiting and project management skills.

  • Sources gig talent across markets using job boards, social media, and client’s talent channels
  • Runs interviews on camera, assesses reliability, professionalism, communication, and presentation
  • Makes booking decisions quickly, matching each person to the right role and activation type based on project fit
  • Builds and maintains a strong, ready bench of vetted talent in key markets
  • Owns assigned projects end to end, managing them through every stage in Monday.com
  • Book and confirm talent through the app, prepares talent for success, manages live staffing, provides check-ins, and juggling many projects, brands, and markets at once
  • Book talent within approved project rates and budgets, flags and escalates rate or budget needs, partners with Account Management to resolve staffing constraints while protecting delivery quality
  • Communicates promptly and clearly across email, WhatsApp, and team channels; shows up on camera for team huddles and co-working, operates with transparency and ownership, surfaces problems early and owns the fix
  • Attends roughly one local or regional event per quarter to stay connected to the field
  • Captures field performance and feedback to strengthen the bench and future bookings, applies learnings to keep raising the quality bar for clients

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on recruiting, staffing, and interviewing experience; this is not an entry-level role
  • Experience in events, experiential, or field marketing staffing strongly preferred, with a real understanding that this work runs on nights and weekends
  • Comfortable and confident on camera; this is a face-to-face company, and on-camera interviewing and team time happen daily
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the responsiveness and follow-through the role demands, including staying on top of email
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to switch context across many projects, brands, and markets without dropping balls
  • Self-motivated and high agency, able to work independently and manage your own time once trust is established
  • Working knowledge of U.S. geography and markets, or the drive to learn it quickly
  • Reliable computer and webcam, and a quiet space to interview
  • Working knowledge of tools such as popbookings, Monday.com, Google Workspace, and HubSpot, or ability to ramp quickly
  • Available to attend roughly four local or regional events per year; no required travel

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Account Management to resolve staffing constraints while protecting delivery quality

  • Communicate promptly and clearly across email, WhatsApp, and team channels; shows up on camera for team huddles and co-working, operates with transparency and ownership, surfaces problems early and owns the fix

Continuous Quality

Pay

$61,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience
