Event Setup | Part-Time Houseperson ($17.50/hour+)

About the role

Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle’s Eastside is excited to welcome our newest Part-Time Event Setup Houseperson to join our Event Setup team and provide excellent service to our guests. You will work closely with our Event Planning and Event Services teams, meeting planners, and clients to bring event visions to life. Responsibilities

• Set up and break down all meeting spaces with tables, chairs, water, and related equipment.
• Follow detailed instructions while adapting to client requests and changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with team members and event stakeholders.

Requirements

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull up to moderate weight.
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking and stand for long periods of time.
• Flexible schedule including AM, PM, overnight shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Previous experience in Event Setup and/or Banquets is preferred.

Pay

The hourly rate offered for this position ranges from $17.50 to $18.03. The starting rate is $17.50 per hour. This position earns additional compensation from event-based service charges and may earn additional compensation from guest-gratuities.
