Event Set-Up Houseperson ($20.00/hr)

About the role

Join our team of elite hospitality professionals at the state-of-the-art KPMG Lakehouse in Lake Nona. The Event Set-Up Houseperson is responsible for setting up, breaking down, and refreshing meeting and event spaces with tables, chairs, and other equipment. This position involves communication with colleagues, participants, and business partners.

The Event Set-Up team services sleeping room floor lounges daily, including restocking, cleaning, and tracking consumption of drinks and snacks. The team also performs all cleaning and sanitizing needs for the meeting space and lounges and distributes training materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, break down, and refresh meeting and event spaces with tables, chairs, and other equipment.
• Service sleeping room floor lounges daily, including restocking, cleaning, and tracking consumption of drinks and snacks.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing needs for meeting spaces and lounges.
• Distribute training materials as needed.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, participants, and business partners.

Qualifications

• A true desire to deliver exceptional service while maintaining participant meeting rooms, lounges, and public areas.
• Ability to professionally communicate with facility colleagues, participants, and business partners.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Full/open schedule availability required, including daytime, evenings, and weekends, pending business levels.
