Qualifications
- Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, push, pull a moderate amount of weight
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Work closely with banquet captains, event planners, and events teams to meet event specifications
- Affords assistance in setting up and breaking down banquet event meeting spaces
- Involves carrying and arranging chairs, tables and other equipment in and out of hotel function spaces
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina
- Has Attention to detail and able to work well with others
- Prior hotel Convention Service experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc.
- This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift moderate weight
- This is a fast-paced position
