Qualifications

  • Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, push, pull a moderate amount of weight
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Work closely with banquet captains, event planners, and events teams to meet event specifications
  • Affords assistance in setting up and breaking down banquet event meeting spaces
  • Involves carrying and arranging chairs, tables and other equipment in and out of hotel function spaces
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina
  • Has Attention to detail and able to work well with others
  • Prior hotel Convention Service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc.
  • This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift moderate weight
  • This is a fast-paced position
