Event Setup | FT Houseperson ($17.50/hour+)

About the role

The Event Setup Houseperson is responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc. This is a fast-paced position.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc.
• Provide excellent service to guests.
• Lift moderate weight as needed.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.

Requirements

• Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull up to moderate weight.
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work flexible schedules including AM or PM shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Previous experience in setup, preferably in banquets.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have previous experience in Setup, in Banquets is preferred.

Schedule

Pay

• Hourly rate range: $17.50/hour.
