Banquet Houseperson - $18 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Banquet Houseperson to join our Banquets Team at Le Méridien Chicago - Oakbrook Center. Located near the Oak Brook Shopping Center, our hotel offers spacious rooms and suites with modern artwork. Responsibilities

• Manual set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms in accordance with Crescent high standards of quality.
• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.
• Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest, including transporting awkward and heavy materials.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet.
• Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Good communication skills with guests.
• Willingness to assist co-workers and be a team player.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Flexible to work various shifts and weekends.
