About the role

The Event Set Up Houseperson Flex Shifts at the Grand Hyatt Denver is responsible for working alone or as part of a team to set up and break down meeting rooms with tables, chairs, water stations, risers, linens, etc. An Event Set Up Houseperson has the opportunity to interact with Hyatt guests and assist them with their requests.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting rooms (tables, chairs, water stations, risers, linens, etc.)
• Interact with guests and assist with their requests
• Lift, push, and carry moderate to heavy weight on a consistent basis
• Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts

Skills

• Good communication skills
• Previous customer service experience

Qualifications

• True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to identify written numbers
• Comfortable making basic conversation with guests
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a moderate amount of weight
• Ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift

Pay

$22.80 per hour
