Event Server - On-Call/Seasonal (May-November)

About the role

The Miraval Event Server provides exceptional food and beverage service for various events, including banquets, receptions, and weddings. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility in scheduling, and a commitment to delivering a refined guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality food and beverage service during banquets, receptions, and special events
• Set up, service, and break down banquet rooms according to event orders and brand standards
• Serve plated meals, buffets, and passed hors d'oeuvres with precision and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after functions
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
• Collaborate with banquet captains, culinary teams, and fellow servers to ensure seamless event execution
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
• Adhere to luxury service etiquette, grooming standards, and uniform requirements

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, or hospitality service experience preferred
• Ability to provide formal, guest-focused service in an upscale environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Food safety and alcohol service certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
