Responsibilities

  • Aid with event setup, arranging equipment, signage, and other necessary materials.
  • Maintain security by monitoring access points and conducting thorough checks to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service by assisting attendees with inquiries, directions, and general event information.
  • Collaborate with event staff and security personnel to ensure a safe and organized environment.
  • Manage crowds by controlling entry and exit points and ensuring proper flow of attendees.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, adhering to established protocols.
  • Monitor event areas to enforce event rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Handle and resolve attendee complaints or conflicts in a calm and professional manner.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to deliver a high standard of service and security.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary depending on local regulations).
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (some college education is preferred).
  • Have previous experience in event security, law enforcement, or a related field (advantageous).
  • Possess strong physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Exhibit excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work effectively in a team and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
  • Possess a valid security license or be willing to obtain one (if required by local regulations).
  • Pass a background check and drug screening.
