About the role
Utilize honed skills as a local meeting planner (including transportation logistics, event production, teambuilding, etc.) and cultivate sales through a geographic territory, assigned hotel, or assigned House Accounts. Lead a sales team consisting of an Account Manager and Program Design Associate to create proposals, develop, secure, and execute programs.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales in assigned area.
- Manage all accounts from proposal through final billing.
- Supervise work performance of Account Manager and Program Design Associate.
- Successfully achieve sales goals and build solid client relationships.
- Create opportunities through sales efforts in assigned areas.
- Communicate with clients to determine needs and review proposals.
- Coordinate with vendors and Program Design Associate to generate proposals and required revisions.
- Conduct site visits with clients and contract approved services.
- Attend pre- and post-conference client meetings.
- Check in with clients daily during program operations (in person or through the Account Manager).
- Return all customer calls within 24 hours.
- Maintain relationships with clients and hotel partners.
- Manage competitive influence on key accounts and deposits/Accounts Receivables.
- Build rapport to sustain relationships and engage management to expand influence.
- Develop new opportunities.
- Lead by example and focus on customer success.
- Maintain a professional presence in the marketplace.
- Manage team in alignment with company Core Values.
- Be solution-oriented and hold yourself accountable for the team’s performance.

Pay
