Responsibilities
- Plan and execute engaging community events that foster connection among residents, such as themed socials, wellness activities, and networking gatherings.
- Support the planning and logistics of internal corporate events, including team-building activities, celebrations, and meetings.
- Assist in organizing and promoting resident-led clubs and activities, ensuring alignment with community interests and company values.
- Research, communicate with, and coordinate vendors for event needs such as catering, entertainment, and decor.
- Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to maximize event attendance and engagement.
- Assist in managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
Requirements
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior student pursuing a degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for seamless event execution.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to generate fresh ideas for engaging events and take initiative in executing them.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Canva or event management software is a plus.
- Must be available to work 20 hours per week in-person in Philadelphia, PA.
Schedule
Part-time opportunity: 20 hours per week. Fully in-person role at the Philadelphia office.
