Event Concierge Intern (Fall 2026)
About the role
The Event Concierge Intern will serve as the liaison between the resort’s operational departments and the onsite meeting contacts. This position is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests for in-house groups. The most important part of the role is achieving the highest quality of service for both internal and external guests and remaining positive when faced with any adversity.
Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent, high-quality guest support for group and resort programs
- Support Conference Services during peak periods and complex events
- Support guest requests and group movements
- Draft and assist with client communications
- Coverage of meeting planners, ensuring all event details are communicated clearly and accurately to operational departments
- Work closely with Convention Services and Catering Managers to ensure every event meets the highest standards and aligns with client expectations
- Manage the day-to-day coordination of hotel events
- Oversee event logistics and ensuring client needs are met from start to finish
- Proactively resolve any issues that arise during events, ensuring a seamless experience
- Manage event spaces and group dynamics to provide expert guidance and support throughout the planning process
- Participate in Pre-Convention Meetings, Banquet Event Order Meetings, and weekly Group Resume meetings to ensure all team members are aligned and prepared for upcoming events
- Handle special projects assigned by the department leaders, contributing to the overall success of the events team
Requirements
High school diploma required
Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship
Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous luxury hospitality experience preferred
Must be actively enrolled or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Hospitality Management, Events, or related discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
Commitment to a consecutive 12-week internship, as per intern rotation
Absolutely fluent in English
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to professionally interact with guests, colleagues, and management
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
A calm and problem-solving mindset when working under pressure, with a focus on addressing client needs efficiently
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the events
Able to lift, move, and place items up to 30 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods during shifts
