About the role
We are seeking a talented Event Marketing Specialist to bring our US event portfolio to life through exceptional execution, operational excellence, and strong cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will support the end-to-end strategy and delivery of high-impact events, including major industry conferences, hosted summits, and strategic partner activations. This is a hands-on position that works closely with our Tradeshow team, the broader Marketing organization, and cross-functionally across the entire the company to create memorable, results-driven experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of Supermicro's events and experiences with the ability to transform projects from concept to creation
- Help manage timelines, project plans, budgets, and deliverables across multiple simultaneous programs
- Coordinate across many teams within our organization on high visibility and time sensitive deliverables
- Conduct and present post-event reports to broader teams while identifying highlights, KPI data, and critical areas for future improvement
- Maintain a high level of organization across all owned projects and be able to present status updates to key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in event marketing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of event leadership, vendor management, and working with many internal processes
- Exceptional budget management, contract and vendor negotiation, and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with experience in KPI development and reporting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels in an organization
- Team player who can operate both collaboratively and independently
- Lift, carry, pull and push up to 25 pounds
- Occasional standing and walking for long periods of time
