Position Summary
The Event Marketing Manager supports marketing, partnership, and business development initiatives across Estiatorio Milos' events portfolio and Milos at Sea. This role works closely with the VP of Events to execute departmental initiatives that support sales objectives, strengthen industry relationships, and enhance awareness of Milos' event offerings.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate creative assets, promotional materials, communications, and project deliverables across teams.
- Maintain marketing and event calendars and oversee timelines from planning through completion.
- Execute event-focused marketing initiatives designed to increase inquiries and bookings.
- Oversee and maintain venue listing platforms and event-related marketing channels.
- Support development of event sales collateral, presentations, photography, virtual tours, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the Global Marketing Director to ensure event-related initiatives align with overall brand strategy and standards.
- Lead Generation & Business Development
- Support the execution of business development initiatives and sales priorities established by the VP of Events.
- Build and maintain prospect databases across all markets.
- Research and identify target corporations, luxury brands, financial institutions, law firms, event agencies, PR firms, executive assistants, and other key decision-makers.
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns through email, LinkedIn, industry platforms, and networking initiatives.
- Track prospect activity, conversion metrics, and pipeline performance.
- Aid in lead generation initiatives and business development efforts that support event sales objectives.
- Partnerships & Industry Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with event planners, concierge teams, destination management companies, luxury travel advisors, PR agencies, and luxury brands.
- Cook up site tours, planner events, networking initiatives, and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Support partnership initiatives that generate qualified leads and increase awareness of Milos' event offerings.
- Represent Milos at industry events, networking functions, and hospitality-related organizations.
- Milos at Sea Sales & Marketing
- Support the growth of Milos at Sea as a luxury hospitality offering within the global Milos portfolio.
- Develop lead generation initiatives targeting high-net-worth individuals, luxury travel advisors, yacht brokers, concierge networks, and corporate incentive groups.
- Research and support partnership opportunities that generate qualified charter inquiries.
- Support the creation and distribution of sales materials, presentations, photography, and marketing assets.
- Track inquiries, booking activity, and revenue performance related to Milos at Sea.
- Aid in trade shows, luxury travel events, familiarization trips, and networking opportunities.
- Analytics, Reporting & Project Management
- Maintain project plans, timelines, and calendars.
- Cook up meeting agendas, recaps, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain organized records, assets, and documentation.
- Track lead sources, booking sources, conversion rates, and return on investment across all event marketing initiatives.
- Prepare monthly performance reports identifying trends, opportunities, and key insights.
- Provide reporting and analysis to support departmental decision-making, strategic planning, and performance evaluations led by the VP of Events.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing and events, preferably within fine dining or high-end hospitality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality Management, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience within luxury hospitality, luxury travel, yachting, private aviation, destination marketing, ultra-high-net-worth client services, or related industries is considered a strong asset.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with consistency and attention to detail.
- Experience managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and event logistics preferred.
- Comfortable balancing planning, coordination, and onsite execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management platforms preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset.
- Professional presence with sound judgment and a thoughtful approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel and maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and a genuine interest in hospitality and guest experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and consistently in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to travel regularly in support of events and activations.
- Ability to stand and move throughout restaurant and event environments for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs at times.
- Ability to assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
- Prolonged periods standing, sitting, and working on a computer.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $85,000. This position may be based onsite in Miami, West Palm Beach, or New York City. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
