Event Marketing Manager

LeafGuard is a specialty one-piece metal gutter brand sold direct to consumers in 100% residential markets. The product eliminates the need for recurring gutter cleaning and prevents mold, rot, and foundation damage. The company has grown from 9 to 52 owned locations across the US in the last 3 years, with sales exceeding $300 million.

About the role

Manage and execute field event marketing initiatives and train teams in lead generation best practices to exceed booked, issued, and sales targets. Responsibilities include event participation, retail partnerships, community outreach, and B2B networking. Recruit, hire, train, and develop an event marketing team with clear accountability for established goals.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage onsite lead generation activities weekly through event participation.
• Attend home shows, fairs, festivals, and other events to educate customers and schedule appointments.
• Develop localized retail partnerships for staffed displays to drive lead generation and sales activity.
• Optimize and leverage community entities with regional managers to create and implement event sponsorship programs with onsite exhibitor presence.
• Manage event tools, resources, and materials for coordination, setup, teardown, and inventory.
• Meet and exceed lead and sales quotas by executing field event coordination, managing the team, and working top-tier weekly events.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience and proven success in lead generation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage and develop others in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Travel within assigned office territory.
• Evening and weekend availability; willingness to work nontraditional business hours.
• Valid Driver’s license with reliable and suitable transportation to transport marketing materials and displays to/from scheduled events.
• Ability to lift/move/carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently, and negligible amounts consistently.

Desired Skills

• Experience in lead generation for the residential home improvement industry.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in event marketing, retail, or restaurant settings.
