As our next Event Manager, you are the liaison between the client and hotel operations. Greet clients, lead property tours, promote hotel services, and respond to inquiriesCreate event details, including menus, contracts, correspondence, banquet orders, and arrangementsCoordinate event and meeting setup and execution with internal departments to meet client and operational needsPrepare weekly and monthly sales and event activity reportsAttend Catering/Events, Food & Beverage, Department Head, and other operational meetings as neededAttend community, social, networking, and business events as appropriateStay current on the competitive market and local hospitality landscapePerform other duties as assigned What we are looking for? Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in event management, catering, hospitality, hotel operations, or a related field preferredEffective and professional written and verbal communication skills when interacting with internal and external guestsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneouslyAbility to effectively assess client needs, develop event solutions, and negotiate pricing as appropriatePreferred experience with Delphi / Amadeus / Passkey / PEP or other hotel software system experience What’s in it for you?
