The Coordinator is an integral member of the Event Planning team, providing essential support to Event Planners and Managers in daily operations. This administrative role encompasses tasks such as generating reports, managing the main inbox, and overseeing events and catering orders. Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming emails and requests for the Eventions planning team.
  • Handle multiple daily catering, sports, and event booking requests.
  • Communicate available services, policies, and fees to clients.
  • Coordinate catering and housekeeping services for booked meetings.
  • Participate in planning meetings, review event details, address staff questions, and discuss logistical matters.
  • Organize and distribute event-related email communications.
  • Create reports, spreadsheets, and documents to organize event information.
  • Provide onsite event assistance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required; an Associate's degree in hospitality management, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and work assignments.
  • Capability to handle last-minute changes in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of events.
  • Tact in working with professional peers from other departments and all subordinates.

Schedule

Pay

Fixed Pay Rate: $34.50 per hour
