Job Overview
Aids the Private Event Manager and Sales Manager in various tasks to ensure successful planning, setup, and execution of large parties, events, and special occasions meeting guest expectations.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age to serve alcohol
- One year of service experience in a similar volume and service style restaurant preferred
- High school graduate, some college preferred
- Current Food Handler’s Card
- Satisfactory communication skills verbally and in writing
- Basic mathematical calculations ability
- Knowledge of table numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper dress code, and all menu items
- Understanding of pricing, glassware, and garnishes for all beverages
- Knowledge of state liquor regulations
- Proficiency in using food serving/preparation equipment
- Knowledge of point-of-sale and payment processing procedures
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
Essential Skills
- Timely and accurate communication with Private Event Manager or General Manager
- Minimal supervision needed to perform job functions
- Organized, able to concentrate under stress
- Effective communication with all levels of organization
- Project management skills
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Arrive on time to scheduled shift
- Work shifts based on event bookings
- Oversee crew members during events
- Handle inquiry calls within company standards
- Collaborate with guests to gather event details such as menus, pricing, AV requirements, and room layout
- Distribute follow-up information to relevant departments
- Collect and distribute sales lead information
- Participate in marketing efforts
- Contribute to team environment by completing other assigned duties

- Approximately 25% time spent walking

- 5% time spent lifting up to 40 lbs.
