Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute large-scale on-campus events, virtual & hybrid events.
  • Customer engagement, scheduling, and day-of-event support.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
  • Service and interact with a diverse group of important clients, including our most senior executives and internal contacts at all levels.
  • Provide world-class customer experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and subject matter expertise in video conferencing and streaming technology are a must.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR Associates degree and 4 years of engineering experience and/or event production experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of engineering experience and/or event production experience.
  • 2-5 years experience scheduling and planning events for Fortune 500 companies.
  • Experience with virtual and hybrid technology (Vbrick webcast, Webex).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (MS Teams, Outlook).
  • Experience with event show calling.
  • Experience with video editing software.
  • Experience supporting live events in large auditoriums.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
  • Strong leadership presence and interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Established habit of proactive thinking and behavior and the desire and ability to self-start, learn, and apply new technologies.
  • Thorough understanding related to collaboration tools, computing devices, and unified communications products applied at Amgen.
  • Working knowledge in installing, upgrading, imaging, and supporting all company desktops, laptops, MacBook hardware, iOS devices, printers, and AV equipment.
  • MS Office 365 support knowledge, including Outlook and MS Teams support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree OR Associates degree and 4 years of engineering experience and/or event production experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of engineering experience and/or event production experience.
  • Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree OR Associates degree and 4 years of engineering experience and/or event production experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of engineering experience and/or event production experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 2-5 years experience scheduling and planning events for Fortune 500 companies.Experience with virtual and hybrid technology (Vbrick webcast, Webex).Experience with Microsoft Office tools (MS Teams, Outlook).Experience with event show calling.Experience with video editing software.Experience supporting live events in large auditoriums.Project management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Life Sciences.Strong leadership presence and interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). Experience managing technical teams.In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.Experience with the ITIL process framework and outsourced resource support models.Established habit of proactive thinking and behavior and the desire and ability to self-start, learn, and apply new technologies.Thorough understanding related to collaboration tools, computing devices, and unified communications products applied at Amgen.Working knowledge in installing, upgrading, imaging, and supporting all company desktops, laptops, MacBook hardware, iOS devices, printers, and AV equipment. MS Office 365 support knowledge, including Outlook and MS Teams support.
