Part-time event cook position at Constellation’s PA Commissary in Philadelphia, PA.

About the role

Prepare a variety of meals for diverse clients during unique events.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food
• Ensuring portion sizes are correct
• Following recipes to ensure meals are made correctly and to order
• Following food safety guidelines, including proper food storage and temperature control

Requirements

• At least three years of prior culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with an emphasis on cooking from scratch
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards
• Ability to use various tools and equipment in the kitchen
• Ability to identify and differentiate food items
• Ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• High-level product knowledge

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of catering/events experience (required)
• Food Handler’s certification (nice-to-have)

Pay

$23 an hour
