Role Summary
The Event Bartender connects with guests by providing friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely service while serving beverages. Responsibilities include:
- Providing the highest quality of service to the guest at all times.
- Preparing and serving beverages to guest order, in accordance with established standards.
- Engaging with guests while ensuring prompt service and meeting guest expectations.
- Using observation, intuition, and spontaneity in describing beverages and assisting guests in selection of items, when needed.
- Operating cash register and handling cash transactions.
- Maintaining records regarding transactions.
- Setting up and breaking down bar; completing all opening and closing duties to established procedures.
- Maintaining inventory and rotating beverages, garnishes, etc.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized area at all times.
- Wiping up spills, stocking and replenishing ice stations, and checking and replacing glassware.
- Creating a pleasant, friendly, hospitable, effective, and professional working environment.
- Reporting to work on time and in proper uniform.
- Practicing safety standards at all times.
Desired Skills And Experience
- Bartending experience, preferably in a hotel, catering, or banquet setting.
- A City of Wauwatosa Bartender’s License is required for this position. If not currently held, this license is required within the first 30 days of employment.
- Flexible availability is required, including nights and weekends.

Compensation
The starting pay for this position is $9.00 per hour. This is a tipped position.
