Evening Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness. They manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, train staff, and handle various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory and daily maintenance
- Train and supervise the team
- Meet and exceed departmental targets
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues
- Ensure safety and security protocols are followed
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting preferred
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Age 18 or older
Qualifications
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
