About the role
Jersey College is seeking an Evening LPN Instructor to join our dedicated team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for teaching.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
- Create a supportive and educational environment for students.
- Prepare and submit student progress and grade reports.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and evaluate student competence.
- Evaluate student learning and clinical experience using established assessment tools.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
- Supervise students in the clinical setting and deliver effective lessons.
- Ensure all evaluations are conducted according to program philosophy and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
- Current valid State LPN license.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Organized and capable of prioritizing tasks.
- Experience supervising students in clinical settings.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the area of nursing specialty.
Skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver lessons at the level of an RN or LPN student.
- Knowledgeable in relevant areas of nursing practice.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
