Evaluator-SP, Center for Human Simulation and Patient Safety

Position Responsibilities

Standardized Patients are used in medical simulations to create realistic educational encounters with medical students. Students gain valuable experience practicing communication and exam techniques. Evaluators-Standardized Patient perform these duties with the addition of grading students.

Required Qualifications

• Must have experience as an SP in our program, current or past member.
• Performance, excellent memory recall, ability to provide different forms of feedback.
• Having worked as a Standardized Patient, current or previous, for at least six months (preferred).
