Evaluator (Clinical Research Assistant )

Primary Duties

• Participant screening and recruitment
• Consenting and primary data collection (survey and MotionWatch) from study participants
• Maintain notes and records regarding screening and recruitment, data collection, and perform data entry
• Attend research team meetings, prepare progress reports, tracking data and record keeping

Requirements

• An interest in health research with older adults with dementia
• Work approximately 15 hours per week mostly in the assisted living sites located in the greater Baltimore area
• Be at the assisted living sites at least three weekdays per week
• Training will be provided for the Clinical Research Assistant related to human subjects research, study procedures and protocols, and other tasks as it pertains to the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field of study related to the research of the clinical setting
• Prior job-related experience working with older adults preferred

Benefits

The hiring range is $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

Approximately 15 hours per week, mostly in the assisted living sites located in the greater Baltimore area. The sites may not be on a bus route so access to transportation will be needed. The Clinical Research Assistant will be expected to be at the assisted living sites at least three weekdays per week.
