Evaluation Coordinator, (UNOPS Local Individual Contractor Agreement - Level 4), Beirut, Lebanon
About the role
The Evaluation Coordinator provides operational, administrative, coordination and technical support to the planning and implementation of evaluation activities undertaken by UNICEF Lebanon. The incumbent supports the management of the evaluation portfolio by facilitating evaluation processes, preparing draft technical documentation, maintaining evaluation information systems, supporting consultants recruitment and contracting processes, coordinating stakeholders engagement and dissemination activities, monitoring management responses and evaluation recommendations, and facilitating knowledge management and reporting related to evaluative evidence.
Responsibilities
- Support evaluation planning and review processes.
- Support the development and monitoring of Management Responses.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Evaluation Function.
Requirements
- A university degree in Evaluation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Public Administration, International Development, Economics, Statistics or another relevant field is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible professional experience in evaluation, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), research, evidence generation, programme management or a related field.
- Experience supporting the management or implementation of evaluations, research studies, surveys or other evidence-generation activities, including coordination with evaluation teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in drafting evaluation-related documentation and supporting the quality review of evaluation or research deliverables.
- Experience in data management, knowledge management and maintaining information management systems, including tracking, reporting and preparation of analytical products.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
- Previous experience with UNICEF or another UN organization and familiarity with UNICEF Evaluation Policy and UNEG Norms and Standards are desirable.
