Position Summary

This PRN Physical Therapist role focuses on evaluating new patients, developing plans of care, and supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs). Treatment hours beyond evaluations are available based on your availability and preference. The position is ideal for therapists who enjoy clinical decision‑making, collaboration with PTAs, and delivering high‑quality evidence‑based care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial evaluations for new orthopedic patients.
• Develop individualized plans of care and establish functional goals.
• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with state practice acts.
• Complete re‑evaluations and progress assessments as clinically indicated.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately and efficiently using our AI‑powered EMR.
• Communicate effectively with referring providers and members of the rehabilitation team.
• Provide direct patient treatment as desired and available.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license.
• Strong orthopedic examination and clinical reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• New graduates with strong orthopedic clinical experience are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $48 – $53 per hour.

Schedule
