ETL Informatica developer with Mainframe

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to join a dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), working closely with business analysts, data architects, and other IT professionals to ensure seamless data integration across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and minimum 3 years' experience in using Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Identify and understand requirements; design, profile, and analyze source data (Mainframe Extracts, flat files, SQL Server, web services) using Informatica ETL.
• Create Mapplets and evaluate data sources, data volume, and business rules.
• Develop ETL components using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services: extract data, create data models, automate job scheduling, manage dependencies, and monitor processes.
• Extract, transform, and load data using ETL tools; configure and script business and transformation rules in Informatica.
• Understand complex stored procedures and enhance them to optimize code; develop strategies to transform stored procedure logic into ETLs using IICS.
• Resolve defects for System Test, Operational Acceptance Test, and Production.
• Work in an Agile team, communicate impediments, and ensure resolution.
• Expertise in SQL is required.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience (submissions below 8 years will not be considered).
• Visa status: H1B, H4EAD, or USC.
• Experience with Mainframe Extracts, flat files, SQL Server, and web services.
• Experience with other Informatica products such as Informatica Cloud, Informatica Data Quality, or Informatica MDM.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Nice to have: Snowflake experience.
