Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support mainframe applications.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Scrum teams to deliver features aligned with architecture and sprint goals.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation where applicable.
- Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Drive continuous improvement in development practices and application quality.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, MQ, and Db2 for z/OS (REXX is a plus).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and production support.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the Payments or Digital Banking domain.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
