Mainframe Developer

About the role

A proven mainframe developer with extensive experience in COBOL 370, EZTrieve Plus, JCL/PROCS, FILEMANAGER, and IBM Utilities like SYNCSORT, SUPERC, COMPAREX, and IEBGENER. Experience with IMS DC/DB, VSAM / DB2, NDM, CA7 Scheduler, and ISPW.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to support program increments and deliver features/stories.
• Work with cross-functional teams to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mainframe developer with at least 7 years of experience.
• Expertise in COBOL 370, EZTrieve Plus, JCL/PROCS, FILEMANAGER, and IBM Utilities.
• Working knowledge of IMS DC/DB, VSAM / DB2, NDM, CA7 Scheduler, and ISPW.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and supporting program increments.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field.
• CCD certification preferred.

• Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $110,000 per year.
