About the role
Intel's Networking Solutions Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ethernet Product Manager to lead the definition and development of software requirements for Ethernet controllers and adapters. This role requires a strong technical background, market insight, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collect and refine customer feature requirements for Ethernet products in partnership with customer enablement team and software architects
- Document detailed product requirements and specifications in collaboration with engineering, marketing, and sales teams
- Define the product life cycle plans for shipping products by partnering with customer enablement teams and engineering
- Engage with OS vendors to align driver availability with OS timelines
- Update product pricing strategies; develop and understand cost models; own long-term revenue forecasts
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify Ethernet industry trends; Provide actionable feedback to influence product strategy and execution to enable competitive differentiation
- Create and present customer-facing software collaterals with compelling stories to drive Intel Ethernet adoption
- Represent Intel at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Intel Ethernet products and solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or in a STEM related field
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in datacenters, servers, or Ethernet Networking
- Experience collecting and refining customer feature requirements
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
- Technical acumen to engage with engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or in a STEM related field
- Experience in networking protocols and data center system architectures
- Experience with Cloud, Telco and Enterprise data center deployments with a focus on networking solutions
- Experience with ASIC/SoC development cycles and vendor management
- Examples of marketing collateral articulating the value proposition of the product

$137,610.00 - 227,270.00 USD
