About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training for private pilots, certified flight instructors, and commercial pilots. Offer instruction in various aircraft types including single-engine, multi-engine, and complex aircraft. Focus on developing skills in private, instrument, commercial, and sport pilot ratings.
Responsibilities
- Teach students the fundamentals of aviation, including takeoffs, landings, and emergency procedures.
- Prepare students for FAA exams and certifications, such as Private Pilot (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot (CPL), and Multi-Engine Rating (MER).
- Develop individualized training plans based on student needs and goals.
- Ensure all training sessions comply with FAA regulations and industry standards.
- Assist students in obtaining their pilot certificates and endorsements.
Requirements
- A valid pilot certificate and current medical certification.
- At least 2000 hours of flight time.
- Experience teaching aviation subjects to students.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in aviation, education, or related field preferred.
- Passion for aviation and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
